I don't know what these journal entries are supposed to consisit of, but I am assuming whatever the hell i want them to. I like all of the positive feedback I received initially from my work. it is very reassuring. I fancy myself as a bit of a Neo-Luddite, so this computer thing is really not something I enjoy. I do it because everyone is doing it, and really I feel that some power greater than me has determined that if I don't, I will "fall behind". I must say that I like it from behind, and I am not too sure what exactly I am keeping up with. I am disillusioned with American capitalistic bullshit and am really not motivated to "keep up" in a society that has no regard for me as an artist, a woman, a recovering alcoholic/drug addict or a liberal nursing mother.

I appreciate this website and having a chance to receive feedback for my art. Sometimes I get so self absorbed I cannot see things clearly. Perspective is crucial, and I feel honored to have gotten such a good initial response. Thank You.

Hope you don't mine, I put a watch on you. I really enjoy your gallery and don't want to miss out on your work.

I love what you're doing with Black and white, making new shots look aged. It gives it something...can't quiet think of the word

thank you for the compliment. The paper/developer combination I have going is what gives them the look. I do not do any toning on them. I tried to selenium tone to remove the greenish tint they seem to aquire, but that didn't do much. thanks for the kind words.

thank you for looking at my gallery, I went to yours also, I do not do any digital work but I am learning to appreciate it. I am a darkroom junkie. You have lovely shots. I have been to Italy just once, and was completely overwhelmed by how beautiful everything and everyone was. I need to go again.
